Miami, Oct. 4, 2024 – Miami Dade College (MDC) will host two job fairs this month at the North and Hialeah campuses, respectively, providing attendees with valuable opportunities to explore new career paths. These events, free and open to both students and the general public, will feature a variety of employers actively seeking talent in multiple industries. Participants are encouraged to dress in professional business attire and bring several copies of their resume for on-site networking and interviews. Job fair details are as follows:
Wednesday, Oct. 9

North Campus, School of Justice (Building J)

Hosted in collaboration with Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson and CareerSource South Florida, the fair will highlight full-time and part-time positions, MDC academic programs and professional development support. Participants will be able to meet with recruiters and apply for jobs on the spot. MDC students and graduates can access their Handshake Career Account, a free digital platform for job seekers, at www.mdc.edu/mdcworks. Over 40 employers will participate in the Hialeah Cares: Community Job Fair offering a variety of full-time and part-time opportunities. Employers include City of Sunny Isles Beach, City of Hialeah, Teacher Accelerator Program, Florida Blue, Florida Department of Corrections and Florida Department of Transportation.
