Discount home goods retailer Homesense is opening Oct. 17, according to a news release.
This will be the second Houston-area store for the brand, and officials said they will celebrate by donating $10,000 to the Houston Food Bank.

The store offers furniture, rugs, wall art and mirrors, lighting, seasonal decor, and bedding. According to the release, merchandise is sold at 20%-50% less than full-price retailers’ prices.
Homesense has 63 locations across the U.S. and is part of TJX Companies, which includes retailers such as TJ Maxx, HomeGoods and Marshalls, among others.
Officials said the store will be open Mon.-Sat. from 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
