BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins Volleyball team will host an eight-team NCAA Regional in Goldfarb Gymnasium from November 21-23, as announced by the association this afternoon. The Blue Jays will host a regional for the fourth time in program history, all of which have come since 2019, with Hopkins (29-2) set to play Bridgewater State (13-9) in its first-round match.
The third-ranked Blue Jays’ latest selection comes after winning the program’s eighth consecutive Centennial Conference Championship via a 3-0 sweep of Swarthmore to secure an automatic bid. With the victory, Hopkins enters the NCAA Tournament riding a 19-match winning streak — the program’s longest since it won a then-Division III record 66 straight from 2019-2021 — with a 29-2 record.
This will be the Blue Jays’ eighth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament and 11th in program history dating back to 2011. Hopkins won its first National Championship in 2019 as part of a perfect 35-0 season in that stretch and has reached the NCAA Quarterfinals in each of the past two seasons.
