Can Jayden Daniels, Commanders pull off ANOTHER upset vs. Jalen Hurts, Eagles? Are Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs officially three-peat ready?

And just like that, the NFL conference championship games are set.

Let’s take a look at the odds at Draftkings Sportsbook as of Jan. 21, as four teams vie for a spot in Super Bowl LIX.

SUNDAY, JAN. 26

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Commanders @ Eagles (1 p.m. ET, FOX/FOX Sports App)

Point spread: Eagles -6 (Eagles favored to win by more than 6 points, otherwise Commanders cover)
Moneyline: Eagles -285 favorites to win; Commanders +230 underdogs to win
Total scoring Over/Under: 47.5 points scored by both teams combined

What to know: At the end of the regular season, there was a 15-win NFC North team and a 14-win NFC North team — and neither made it to the NFC Championship Game. In a twist of fate, two NFC East teams will do battle on Jan. 26, with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. The Eagles and Commanders faced off twice this season, with Philly winning 26-18 at home in Week 11 and Washington winning 36-33 at home in Week 16. However, Philadelphia QB Jalen Hurts suffered a concussion early in that game, and the Eagles had to roll out Kenny Pickett. In those two games, Saquon Barkley proved nearly unstoppable, rushing for 296 yards and four touchdowns total. But in the Week 16 contest, Jayden Daniels was not to be outdone, tossing five touchdowns — he also had two interceptions — and rushing for 81 yards as well. So, which offensive star will reign supreme?

According to FOX Sports NFL reporter Ralph Vacchiano, bettors shouldn’t count out the Commanders.

“The Washington Commanders are playing like a team of destiny,” Vacchiano said on the NFL on FOX Pod. “They know that this was supposed to be a building-block season, but they’re here.

“And I could break down some flaws and could give you reasons why the Eagles should win this game. But I wouldn’t bet on that because these Commanders are just on a special run.”

Can Jayden Daniels, Commanders pull off ANOTHER upset vs. Jalen Hurts, Eagles?

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Bills @ Chiefs (4:30 p.m. ET, CBS/Paramount+)

Point spread: Chiefs -1.5 (Chiefs favored to win by more than 1.5 points, otherwise Bills cover)
Moneyline: Chiefs -135 favorites to win; Bills +114 underdogs to win
Total scoring Over/Under: 47.5 points scored by both teams combined

What to know: As has become a yearly routine, the AFC is all about who can knock off Kansas City, winners of four of the last five AFC title games. The Chiefs clinched the No. 1 seed and a bye, and then beat Houston in the divisional round, meaning they will host Buffalo in the AFC Championship Game, after the Bills slipped past a mistake-prone Ravens squad on Sunday. The Bills were the only team to beat the Chiefs during the regular season before K.C. rested its starters in Week 18. It was a 30-21 win … but it came in Buffalo. The last three times Buffalo has gone to Kansas City in the regular season, it has emerged victorious. But in the postseason? The Bills are 0-3 in their last three tries against the Chiefs.

Are Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs officially three-peat ready?

Are Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs officially three-peat ready?

FOX Sports NFL reporter Henry McKenna highlighted the Patrick Mahomes–Josh Allen quarterback matchup as one of the game’s most crucial components.

“It’s hard to bet against Mahomes and the Chiefs, who are working toward a three-peat,” McKenna wrote. “But everything is aligning for this to be Allen’s moment.

“There’s not a cohesive argument for why the Bills won’t win except: ‘Mahomes.’ To that, I’d respond: ‘But … Allen.’ Allen can be just as great as Mahomes. But Allen needs to begin to prove that on Sunday.”
