MESA, ARIZ. – Summit League officials released the 2025 Women’s Golf All-League teams Friday with the first round of the 2025 Championship at Longbow Golf Course set for Sunday morning. A vote of the League’s eight head coaches determined the teams, which included nine repeat recipients.
Top-seeded Denver led all teams with five selections, including a trio of first-team honorees in Emma Bryant, Clara Gestsdottir and Haven Ward. Oral Roberts’ Avery Blake secured first-team honors for the second consecutive season, South Dakota State’s Piper Stubbs rounded out the first team after earning an honorable mention nod last season and second-team spot in 2022-23.
Bryant, a three-time first team honoree, led all league golfers with a 71.8 stroke average in 24 regular season rounds, while Gestsdottir followed close behind her teammate with a 72.3 stroke average. She landed on the first team for the second straight year and earned her third overall all-league distinction.
Bryant recorded two top-five finishes this season, three top-10 finishes and four top-25 finishes during the regular season, while Gestsdottir, who is the reigning Summit League Championship MVP, posted a pair of top-10 finishes, including a season-best runner-up finish in her last outing at the Boilermaker Spring Classic.
Blake led the Golden Eagles with a 72.7 stroke average, good for third-best among league golfers. She captured four top-five finishes, including a third-place showing at the Diamante Intercollegiate where the senior shot three rounds in the 60’s to post a 54-hole score of 205 (-11).
Stubbs led the Jackrabbits with a 73.6 stroke average to rank fifth among league golfers. The SDSU senior claimed three top-five finishes and shared the league-lead with five top-10 finishes including an individual title at the Ozarks National Invitational.
Haven completes the Denver first-team trio as the sophomore collected all-league honors for the first time in her career. She was fourth best among league golfers with a stroke average of 73.6. The DU sophomore posted a pair of top-10 finishes and had 10 rounds of par or better during the regular season.
St. Thomas’ Isabelle Lynch and Oral Roberts’ Kate Strickland landed on the five-member second team for the second year in a row and were joined on that squad by South Dakota State’s McKenzie Mages, Omaha’s Katie Ruge and Oral Roberts’ Anna Swan. Mages was an honorable mention selection a season ago, while Ruge and Swan both earned their first career all-league recognition.
Lynch averaged a team-best 74.3 strokes over 15 team rounds and recorded one top-five finish and four top-10 finishes during her senior campaign.
Strickland posted a pair of top-five finishes and opened the season with a career-best 65 (-6) en route to a third-place finish at the Payne Stewart Memorial. The Golden Eagle junior led her team with 11 round of par or better.
Through 22 rounds, Mages was second on the team and sixth in the league in stroke average at 73.7. She had three top-five finishes throughout the year, including winning the 2025 Spring Jackrabbit Invitational where she opened with a season-best 66 (-6).
Ruge led Omaha with a stroke average of 74.0 and was one of two Summit League golfers to capture a pair of medalist honors during the season after winning the Loyola Parkinson Family Invitational and MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial.
Swan was the only freshman to land on the first or second team after posting a quartet of top-10 finishes during her rookie season.
The honorable mention team was made up of three-time all-league honoree Elise Hoven, who joined Ruge in winning two events during the regular season, of North Dakota State and two-time all-league honoree Kathryn VanArragon of St. Thomas.
Earning all-league honors for the first time in their respective careers were NDSU’s Norah Roberts, DU’s Maren Farbu and South Dakota’s Ella Greenberg as that trio rounded out the honorable mention members.
The 2025 all-league awards featured an all-freshman team for the first time and that group of five was headlined by Swan and Farbu. Those two were joined by fellow Pioneer Logan Hale, St. Thomas’ Amelia Morton, and NDSU’s Avery Bartels.
