UFC welterweight champion Muhammad defends his title for the first time against Della Maddalena in the night’s five-round main event, while Shevchenko begins her second reign as flyweight champion with a tough five-round test against Fiorot in the co-headliner.
Muhammad (24-3, 1 NC) is unbeaten over his past 11 fights, culminating in a lopsided upset victory over Leon Edwards this past July to capture the welterweight strap. Nicknamed “Remember the Name,” Muhammad, 36, was previously scheduled to defend his title against Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310, however a bone infection in his foot forced him to withdraw and a lingering injury to Rakhmonov rendered the Uzbek contender unable to make the date at UFC 315, allowing Della Maddalena to step in.

Della Maddalena (17-2) is a perfect 7-0 in the UFC since debuting off the promotion’s Contender Series in 2022. A native Australian who has won 17 straight fights since starting his pro career at 0-2, Della Maddalena, 28, has earned stoppages in five of his Octagon appearances, including a monster come-from-behind knockout of Gilbert Burns in his most recent outing in March 2024.
In the evening’s co-main event, one of the greatest women’s combatants of all time and Uncrowned’s No. 2 pound-for-pound fighter in the world, Shevchenko (24-4-1), continues her 22-year MMA run against Fiorot (12-1), who steps into her first title opportunity after racking up a 7-0 record to start her UFC run.
