(NBC, KYMA/KECY) – Charter Communications and Cox Communications, two of the largest cable companies in the U.S., have entered into an agreement to merge.
Charter is the second-largest publicly traded cable company behind Comcast, who owns our parent company NBC Universal.
Cox is still privately run by the Cox family.
Charter’s Spectrum will become the brand by which the combined companies’ services will be known to customers.
