USA Swimming Golden Goggle Awards Headed for Denver
A new city has been selected as the host of the annual Golden Goggle Awards, which recognize the best athletes within USA Swimming. The Denver Art Museum will be the site of the 2025 gala, which will be held on September 27. The evening’s reception begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the ceremony at 7 p.m.
Each year, USA Swimming honors athletes in multiple categories, with the year’s major competition playing a major role in the selection of the winners. This year’s primary event is the World Championships, which will be held in July and August in Singapore. The following categories have been recognized in the past:
- Female Athlete of the Year
- Male Athlete of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Breakout Performer
- Female Race of the Year
- Male Race of the Year
- Perseverance Award
- Open Water Swimmer of the Year
- Relay Performance of the Year
Individuals who wish to attend the event in Denver can purchase tickets. Information is available on the USA Swimming website and at the link below. An online auction will also be held as part of the event.
Past Golden Goggle Awards have been held in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami and Indianapolis.
