The Ultimate Fighting Championship goes to “The Emirates” for UFC Fight Night. Middleweights Robert Whittaker (27-8-0) takes on Reinier de Ridder (20-2-0), as the main card’s marquee matchup.
On Saturday, July 26, UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. de Ridder takes place live from Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Prelims began at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT. The main card starts at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT. If you want to watch UFC Fight Night, the MMA event livestreams online on ESPN+.
“I see myself, pressing forward, putting a lot of pressure on him early,” de Ridder said about his opponent to UFC.com. “I see him responding with quick kicks, trying to blitz. I’m going to pressure him early, hand-fight, hit him with some good long-range stuff, then hopefully hit him with some close-range stuff. Take him down, choke him out. That’s the plan.”
