Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.
Isaiah Tucker from Kennesaw, Georgia, has announced his verbal commitment to the admission process at Princeton University. He will head north to New Jersey in the fall of 2026.
“I’m incredibly excited to announce my commitment to the admissions process to continue my academic and athletic career at Princeton University! This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of my coaches, along with my family, friends, and teammates who have pushed and supported me every step of the way. A huge thank you as well to Coach Matt and the entire Princeton coaching staff for this amazing opportunity. Go Tigers 🐅”
Tucker is a rising senior at Kennesaw Mountain High School. He won the 100 fly (47.52) and 100 back (48.21) at the 2025 GHSA 5A State Championships. Last year, as a sophomore, he won the 100 fly (49.42) and placed 5th in the 100 back (52.08) at the GHSA 7A State Championships.
Tucker does his year-round swimming with Direct Current Swimming. He is a Summer Nationals qualifier in the 100 back and 100 fly and a Summer Juniors qualifier in the 200 fly. In March, he competed at the Georgia Swimming Central Divisional Championship, where he won every event he entered and took home new PBs in the 50 free, 100/200 back, 200 fly, and 200/400 IM.
He kicked off 2025 long course season with new PBs in the 50/100 free, 50/100 back, 50 breast, and 200 IM. He is entered in 5 individual events at the 2025 Speedo Junior National Championships in Irvine.

He told SwimSwam, “Some interests I have outside of the pool are pickleball, golf, basketball, and thrifting. I am also a big artist; I create a lot of ceramic art out of clay.”
Tucker will join the Princeton class of 2030 with Peter Vu, Michael Geh, and Yury Kuzmenko. His best times would have scores at the 2025 Ivy League Men’s Championships in the ‘B’ finals of the 100 back, 100 fly, and 200 fly.

*Note: A verbal commitment between an Ivy League coach and a prospective student-athlete is not an offer of admission, as only the Admission Office has that authority. The coach can only commit his or her support in the admission process. Ivy League Admission Offices do not issue “Likely Letters” before October 1 of the prospective student-athlete’s senior year of high school. The Likely Letter, while issued after an initial read of the student’s application, is not an offer of admission to the university.
