Game Notes
- Saturday night’s starting lineup mimics the one in Rapids’ previous matchup against Minnesota United, including Darren Yapi, whose brace secured Colorado’s victory at Allianz Field.
- Newly-acquired defender Rafael Santos makes his first appearance on the gameday selection after being welcomed to Colorado on Friday. The Brazilian fullback has spent the last two seasons with Orlando City SC, recording two goals and eight assists since arriving to the Eastern Conference side at the start of the 2023 season.
- After making his first-team debut against Cruz Azul, Sydney Wathuta earned his fourth and final short-term call up to the first team for Saturday’s MLS match. In accordance with the 2025 MLS Roster Rules and Regulations, a club may sign a player, age 25 or younger during the league season, from its affiliate (MLS NEXT Pro) to a maximum of four Short-Term Agreements (up to four-day contracts) each season (maximum of 16 days).
- The Rapids will be donning the Original Green Kit at home for the first time since releasing the throwback kit in July.
