Set for a September 12th drop date, EA Sports has rolled out an impressive lead up to the release of NHL 26 in making it one of the most anticipated sports video game entries of the year. Available for the major gaming consoles including PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, the latest installment in the series marks the 35th edition of the title dating all gthe way back to it’s initial release in 1991.
Building on the ICE-Q technology introduced via NHL 25, the gameplay implements NHL EDGE data so that the game is as close to real life as possible. Beyond stats and rankings, the tech drills down aspects of each player’s game from skate speed to shot power to make for gaming experience second-to-none.
Along with the upgrades to the player experience, NHL 26 has compiled a seriously stacked soundtrack to accompany the release. Consisting of 36 artists rnaging from hardcore to punk, progressive metal to pop the tracklist spans a diverse field of music that cuts to the core of the game – adrenaline. Among the artists featured on the NHL 26 soundtrack include Turnstile, Spiritbox, Scowl, Disturbed, New Found Glory, Wet Leg and The Hives.
