The Denver Broncos did some roster shuffling ahead of Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
First, the Broncos poached offensive lineman Geron Christian off the Dallas Cowboys‘ practice squad, signing the tackle to their own active roster. To make room for Christian, Denver waived wide receiver Michael Bandy from the 53-man roster on Tuesday.
After clearing waivers, Bandy is re-signing on the practice squad. The Broncos had an open spot for Bandy after releasing offensive tackle Marques Cox from the practice squad on Tuesday.
Additionally, Denver has also signed outside linebacker Garrett Nelson to the practice squad. He was cut from the squad two weeks ago and has now returned to provide more depth at OLB.
