Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial aid, student accounts, or a related field, with demonstrated ability to manage student counseling, billing inquiries, and loan counseling.
- 1 to 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience, including training and mentoring staff and managing workflows or departmental
- Strong communication, organizational/analytical and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team of highly motivated and experienced individuals.
- Honesty, integrity and commitment to maintain high professional standards
- Ability to communicate well by telephone and email, in addition to face-to-face interactions
Preferred:
- Experience with relevant software programs (Datatel/Colleague, Microsoft Office) and knowledge of federal need analysis.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Physical Requirements:
- Typical office or administrative working conditions. Staff is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Work is primarily sedentary in nature; there are no special physical demands.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
Compensation
The pay range associated with this posting reflects the amount the University reasonably expects to pay for this role at this time. Salary offers are determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications as well as internal equity, market data and pay in comparison to similarly situated employees doing comparable work.
Hiring Range: $56,600 – $62,900
