ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating after a teenager was shot at a shopping center on Saturday afternoon.
Police responded to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW near Lynhurst Drive in reference to a teen being shot just after 12 p.m.
Investigators say when they arrived, they found a 17-year-old who had been shot and killed in the parking lot. His identity has not been released.

Police say the teenager was shopping in the complex when words were exchanged with some other individuals.
There is no word on possible suspects or any further motive.
The incident was contained to the parking lot, police say.
The shopping center includes a Wayfield supermarket and several clothing stores.
