The Denver Broncos have announced their uniform for a Sunday Night Football showdown with the Washington Commanders in Week 13.
The Broncos will wear orange jerseys with orange pants and blue socks on SNF, the team announced Saturday. Denver’s wearing its primary orange jersey despite playing on the road because the Commanders opted to wear their “Super Bowl Era” alternate uniform, which features a white jersey.
NFL teams are allowed to wear alternate/throwback uniforms up to four times per season. Denver previously wore its alternate blue jersey on Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4, and its throwback look against the Dallas Cowboys (Week 8) and Las Vegas Raiders (Week 10). The Broncos will wear the beautiful throwback uniform again against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 18 (Jan. 3/4).
Denver unveiled a new uniform wardrobe last year, and the NFL relaxed its rules this offseason, allowing teams to now wear alternate helmets with non-alterate jerseys, so we could see the Broncos wear their white helmet later this season (perhaps on Christmas Day against the Kansas City Chiefs).
Fans can also look forward to the team’s upcoming “Rivalries” series uniform, which is set to arrive in 2027.
