Spanish-speaking city of Bend staff will work at the Latino Community Association’s office on Twin Knolls Drive once a week to help community members navigate city processes, according to a joint statement from the two organizations.
The city sees this as a way to expand access to services by bringing city government to places where the community gathers. The association sees the move as a way to help Latinos access city resources, ask questions to feel seen.
Appointments can be schedule with the city staff starting in January, according to the statement. The association’s office is located at 2680 NE Twin Knolls Drive.
