The creative and strategic talent of Yucatán shone on one of the most important stages for political communication in the Americas.
The Yucatecan consulting firm Púrpura won three awards at the 2025 Reed Latino Awards, solidifying its position as a local firm with international impact.
At the ceremony held in Antigua, Guatemala, where more than a thousand entries from 150 consulting firms across Latin America competed, Púrpura demonstrated that narratives and strategies capable of standing out from major agencies in countries with a long tradition of political marketing are produced in Yucatán.
The most prestigious award was Best Digital Campaign by Latinos in the United States and Europe, for the Nueve Castilla y León project, a piece that crossed borders due to its ability to integrate creativity, strategy, and territorial understanding in a highly competitive market.
The consulting firm also received an award for its “Coahuila en tus Manos” (Coahuila in Your Hands) spot, which won in the Best Unreleased Political Communication Spot category. This distinction underscores the narrative and aesthetic strength of a project that, even without official release, impressed the jury with its visual impact and strategic clarity.
The third award went to the government campaign for the municipality of Escobedo, Nuevo León, which won Best Government Communication Campaign (GCC) for its strong identity, authenticity, and connection with the community.
For Púrpura, these achievements represent more than just awards: they confirm that the creativity, strategic vision, and technical expertise developed in Yucatán can compete with the best in the region.
“We are a 100% Yucatecan consulting firm that competes and wins against firms from all over Latin America. Our origins define us, and our vision drives us to demonstrate that world-class political communication is being produced in the Southeast,” stated Francisco Lezama, CEO of Púrpura.
Since its first participation in 2022, the company has already accumulated six Reed Latino awards, a growth that, according to Lezama, reflects the work of a team that has been able to innovate, adapt, and take its creativity to new territories.
With these awards, Púrpura reaffirms the place of Yucatecan talent in continental political communication, demonstrating that excellence is also born and consolidated outside the major traditional centers of marketing.
