An indoor mini golf and restaurant business that got its start in Austin could be coming to the popular West Seventh area of Fort Worth.
Dirdie Birdie was opened by Vik and Lina Khasat in 2022 at The Domain shopping center in North Austin. The mini golf course is described on its website as “12 unique handcrafted art installations turned mini golf holes” paying tribute to Austin landmarks.
Now, it appears another location could open in Fort Worth. A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows a Dirdie Birdie location could open in a 9,200-square-foot space at 2821 Morton St., which is part of the vibrant West Seventh Street area and Cultural District. Construction could start in January 2026 and wrap up by June, according to the filing.
The location was previously the home of bar and restaurant Bottled Blonde, which closed in December 2024. TDLR filings are preliminary and subject to change, but can be good indicators of business and real estate activity.
