Your role
The Microwave and Antenna Design department is growing and we are now looking for a new manager within Microwave T/R Technology. The main responsibility of the Manager of Microwave T/R Technology is the design of analogue high frequency parts for our active electronically scanned phased arrays (AESA), including the development of new technology for the transmit and receive modules, such as Microwave Monolithic Integrated Circuits (MMIC).
As Manager of Microwave T/R Technology you will be part of the Management Team and report to Head of Microwave and Antenna Design. In the Management Team each member contributes with their individual experiences and skills to create an effective and dynamic environment. You are expected to work with your individual area of responsibility and as a member of the Management Team also interact and take part in the challenges of other groups.
Cooperation with other groups, departments and business units is key in order to succeed.

As member of the Management Team of Microwave and Antenna Design, you will be part of one of Europe’s leading development teams in the field of microwave and antennas. We are design responsible for the analogue high frequency parts of our products including antenna elements, PBAs, modules, integrated circuits etc. Microwave and Antenna Design is the hub of high frequency competence within Saab, serving all other business units with resources and knowledge.
We have development teams in both Göteborg and Stockholm and collaborate with teams in other countries regularly. You will on daily basis interact and collaborate with developers of the most advanced radar and electronic warfare systems available.
You will be based mainly in Göteborg, but some travel might be required
