ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Thursday confrontation between an officer and a student on a Fulton County school bus ended with the officer firing a Taser, according to the school district.
The bus was carrying Langston Hughes High School students.
Fulton County Schools said the officer has been removed from active duty.
Video of the tasing incident circulated online.

Eighteen-year-old Lanier Johnson-Hunt spoke to Atlanta News First following the incident on Thursday.
He says it all started because of a new school bus driver who thought he didn’t belong on the bus. When he refused to get off, he says the resource officer tased him multiple times.
“At the moment, nothing was going through my mind,” Johnson-Hunt said. “I’ve never been tased before. But now I think that’s crazy. You’re a school resource officer. You’re supposed to be helping us and you’re tasing random kids. There’s no point in you tasing me at all.”
In a statement, Fulton County Schools said: “The incident is being taken seriously and is currently under review.”
