The Sheriff’s Hispanic Advisory Council visited the Brandon Senior Center today to distribute goodies to the center’s residents. The event allowed council members to participate directly in activities with the seniors.
In a Facebook post, council members shared information about Hispanic culture and connected with residents through conversation and activities. The visit was part of ongoing outreach efforts by the Sheriff’s Office to strengthen community relationships and promote cultural awareness.
In return, the seniors presented the council with a thank-you basket that included handmade crafts, a card, and coffee mugs filled with candy.
