DENVER — A well-known and nationally acclaimed Denver chef with two Michelin-starred restaurants has unveiled plans to open his sixth restaurant in Denver’s River North Art District.
Chef Johnny Curiel and his wife, Kasie, will open their latest Mexican restaurant, Maize, in spring 2026 inside an intimate space located at 3455 Ringsby Court.
The chef’s table-style restaurant will seat eight guests at a time, and offer two seatings per night. The 16 guests can expect Johnny to personally engage with them. The menu offers an 18-course traditional Mexican tasting menu with in-house nixtamalized masa, a dough made from ground corn.
