The Seattle Seahawks surged atop the NFC standings with their dramatic 38-37 overtime comeback win over the Los Angeles Rams last week.
And in doing so, they staked a legitimate claim to being the NFL’s top team.
Seahawks rule out Cross, Bryant vs Panthers
That was evident across the NFL media landscape this week, as numerous different experts and outlets moved the Seahawks (12-3) to No. 1 in their weekly power rankings.
However, some still view the Rams (11-4) as the NFL’s top team – even after their OT loss to Seattle. And the San Francisco 49ers (11-4) continue to climb the power rankings as well, giving the NFC West three of the league’s top teams.
Below is a roundup of 10 different NFL power rankings from this week, with a focus on how the Seahawks, Rams and 49ers stack up.
The Seahawks are No. 1 in eight of the 10 rankings, while the Rams held onto the No. 1 spot in the other two. Meanwhile, the 49ers are a top-10 team in seven of the 10, with their highest ranking at No. 4.
