The Denver Broncos have called up one reinforcement from the practice squad ahead of their regular season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Broncos elevated linebacker Levelle Bailey from the practice squad to the game-day roster for Week 18. He will revert back to the practice squad on Monday. Bailey adds more depth with linebacker Dre Greenlaw (hamstring) ruled out.
NFL teams are allowed to elevate up to two players to the game-day roster each week, and those players do not have to clear waivers before returning to the practice squad. However, there is a three-elevation limit per player during the regular season. During the playoffs, players do not have a limit of elevations, but teams can’t elevate more than two players per week.
