SLATE PREVIEWGOALIESVALUE PLAYSFORWARD LINE STACKSDEFENSEMEN

There are 10 games on the docket for tonight, and the action starts at 7 p.m. ET with four matches (Montreal at Buffalo, Philadelphia at Pittsburgh, San Jose at Washington, Vancouver at Columbus). That will be followed by two games at 8 p.m. (Seattle at Boston, Winnipeg at Minnesota) and one at each of 8:30 (Calgary at Chicago), 9 p.m. (the Islanders at Edmonton) and 9:30 p.m. (Toronto at Vegas).

SLATE PREVIEW

Seattle, Philadelphia, Buffalo and Vegas all played Wednesday, so those squads might be held back somewhat tonight due to fatigue. San Jose will play again Friday, which might influence the Sharks’ lineup decisions Thursday.

GOALIES

Logan Thompson, WAS vs. SJS ($8,000): Thompson is 17-12-4 with a 2.34 GAA and a .916 save percentage in 33 outings this season. He’s been strong recently, winning his past two starts while saving 47 of 50 shots (.940 save percentage). The Sharks aren’t the easiest of adversaries, but with Thompson hot, he’s still worth considering.

Jeremy Swayman, BOS vs. SEA ($7,700): Swayman has a 4-1-1 record, 2.33 GAA and .917 save percentage across his past six appearances, and he’s not showing any signs of slowing down after posting a 24-save shutout victory over Detroit on Tuesday. Seattle ranks 25th in goals per game with 2.77.

Stuart Skinner, PIT vs. PHI ($7,100): Skinner is red hot, limiting the competition to just one goal in each of his past four games. The Flyers have managed just four goals while dropping their past three games (0-2-1) and are tied for 22nd in goals per game this season with 2.91, so this is a favorable matchup.

VALUE PLAYS

Ethen Frank, WAS vs. SJS ($4,600): Frank has accumulated four goals across his current three-game goal-scoring streak. He’s up to 10 goals and 18 points in 36 appearances in 2025-26. It helps that Frank is projected to play alongside Alex Ovechkin ($6,200) and Dylan Strome ($6,000) on Thursday.

Linus Karlsson, VAN at CLM ($4,500): Karlsson has registered an assist in each of his past two games, which gives him five goals and 10 points over his last 12 appearances. He’s averaged 13:03 of ice time over that 12-game stretch, which is up from 10:17 over his first 31 outings of the campaign.

Cole Perfetti, WPG at MIN ($4,300): Perfetti is on a three-game scoring streak in which he’s collected five assists. He might be turning his campaign around after being limited to nine points across his first 28 appearances in 2025-26 – a huge decline from his 50-point showing in the 2024-25 regular season.

FORWARD LINE STACKS

Oilers vs. Islanders

Connor McDavid (C – $8,300), Zach Hyman (W – $7,000), Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (C – $6,500)

McDavid is doing something special, even by his standards. He’ll enter Thursday’s action on a 20-goal scoring streak in which he’s collected 19 goals and 46 points. His streak is currently in a six-way tie for 27th on the all-time list. It’s also tied for fifth among streaks since the start of the salary cap, and he’ll move into sole possession of fifth place with another point tonight.

Meanwhile, Hyman has accumulated three goals and four points across his past two games, and Nugent-Hopkins has been held off the scoresheet just once across his last six outings (five assists), so they’ve been productive recently, too. If Nugent-Hopkins’ status as a center is problematic for your lineup construction, Leon Draisaitl (W – $7,800) is red hot with five goals and 10 points across his past five outings.

Golden Knights vs. Leafs

Jack Eichel (C – $7,900), Mark Stone (W – $8,000), Ivan Barbashev (W – $5,300)

While Eichel isn’t on a streak that rivals McDavid, the other star taken in the 2015 NHL Draft has been fantastic in his own right. Eichel has four goals and 10 points across his past six appearances. Meanwhile, Stone has supplied eight goals and 14 points over his last nine outings, making Eichel and Stone a perfect duo to grab tonight.

You could take Barbashev to round out the line, especially given his low price point, but Barbashev has just two assists over his past eight games. I recommend swapping him out for Mitch Marner (W – $6,300). Marner has two goals and seven points across his last five appearances, and I’m looking for him to have a big game against his former team. Marner is also expected to share the ice with Eichel and Stone on the power play.

DEFENSEMEN

Zach Werenski, CLM vs. VAN ($7,800): Werenski has three goals and 10 points across his past seven appearances, which brings him up to 17 goals and 50 points through 42 outings in 2025-26. Colorado’s Cale Makar is the only defenseman ahead of him in the scoring race (53 points).

Josh Morrissey, WPG at MIN ($6,400): Morrissey has been held off the scoresheet just once across his past seven appearances, supplying two goals and seven points across that span. He’s up to eight goals and 37 points in 45 outings this campaign.

Tony DeAngelo, NYI at EDM ($4,400): DeAngelo has been just fine this campaign as far as offensive production goes, supplying two goals and 19 points in 46 outings. However, he’s been productive lately with a goal and six points across his past five appearances, which is great for his price point.
