A former Alabama football four-star prospect plans to enter the transfer portal.
According to On3, freshman wide receiver Caleb Odom will enter the NCAA transfer portal when the winter window opens Monday with three years of eligibility.
Odom, a former four-star tight end, appeared in all 12 games for the Crimson Tide, playing both wide receiver and special teams. He finished his freshman season with seven catches for 65 yards. Odom had two receptions against Western Kentucky, Wisconsin and Mercer.
Odom was the No. 53 player in the 2024 class per 247Sports’ composite rankings out of Carrollton, Georgia. He arrived as a tight end, but moved to Alabama’s wide receiver room.
Odom is the fifth player with plans to enter the portal along with defensive lineman Jehiem Oatis, linebacker Keanu Koht, cornerback Jahlil Hurley and wide receiver Kobe Prentice.
The winter transfer portal window opens Monday and will remain open until Dec. 28.
