On the heels of the NFL Combine, offensive lineman Jonah Savaiinaea will appear at Big 12 Pro Day. Savaiinaea will be one of eight former Arizona Football players appearing at the Big 12 Pro Day at The Star in Frisco, Texas from March 18 to 21.
Savaiinaea was a mainstay on the offensive line during his three seasons with the Wildcats, starting 36 games over three seasons. He led the team in offensive blocking grade (75.9 per PFF), allowing four sacks over 738 total snaps during the 2024 season. Savaiinaea earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention following the 2024 season. In 2023, he earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention. He was named to the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year watch list before the 2023 and 2024 seasons, as well as the Outland Trophy watch list (2023) and the Lombardi Award watch list (2024) each of his last two seasons with Arizona. Before the 2024 season, Savaiinaea was placed on Reese’s Senior Bowl watch list and made a dominant appearance in the game.
Also, among the players attending Big 12 Pro Day are offensive lineman Joey Capra, running back Quali Conley, running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt, defensive back Owen Goss, long snapper Justin Holloway, wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig, and linebacker Jared Small.
Capra joined Arizona as a transfer from Nevada and appeared in nine games with three starts on the offensive line last season with the Wildcats after appearing in 24 games over the previous two seasons with Nevada and one season with San Diego State. He was rated the 11th-best center per 247Sports coming out of high school. Capra appeared in 42 games between San Diego State, Nevada, and Arizona.
Conley joined the Wildcats as a transfer from San Jose State and led Arizona in rush attempts (150), rushing yards (745), and rushing touchdowns (8). He averaged 62.08 yards per game and 5.0 yards per carry. He finished his collegiate career with 3,345 rushing yards and 30 rushing touchdowns combined between Utah Tech, San Jose State, and Arizona (52 total games).
Croskey-Merritt joined the Wildcats as a transfer from New Mexico and rushed for 106 yards against his former team on Aug. 31, in his lone appearance with Arizona last season. He ran for 1,190 yards and 17 touchdowns in his final season with New Mexico and earned Second Team All-Mountain West honors in 2023. Croskey-Merritt rushed for 2,538 yards in his collegiate career with 31 rushing touchdowns combined between Alabama State, New Mexico, and Arizona (51 games).
Goss joined the Wildcats before the 2024 season as a transfer from Colgate. During his time at Colgate, he recorded 115 tackles, 13 pass deflections, and three interceptions. In one season with Arizona, he made 52 total tackles (5th on team), one sack, and led the team in forced fumbles (3) and fumble recoveries (2).
Holloway started all 12 games at long snapper helping guide freshman punter Michael Salgado-Medina. He transferred to Arizona following four seasons at Ohio, appearing in 43 combined games between the two programs.
Lemonious-Craig joined the Wildcats before the 2023 season from Colorado and made 79 total receptions for 965 yards with nine touchdowns combined between the two programs. He appeared in 47 games during his collegiate career. Lemonious-Craig averaged 12.22 yards per reception.
Small joined the Wildcats before the 2023 season after appearing with LSU and Tulane during his collegiate career. He made 65 total tackles with six tackles for loss over six seasons (42 games) combined between three programs.

The Wildcats had three former players selected (Jordan Morgan, Jacob Cowing, and Tanner McLachlan) in the 2024 NFL Draft matching the most selected in one draft since 2014 when Ka’Deem Carey (4th, 117 overall), Shaquille Richardson (5th, 157 overall), and Marquis Flowers (6th, 212 overall) were selected.
