The Atlanta Hawks will turn State Farm Arena into Magic City for one night only next month.
On Monday, March 16, as the Hawks play against the Orlando Magic, the arena will celebrate the famed Magic City strip club with T.I. to perform at halftime presented by Jack Daniels.
Ahead of the evening game, attendees are invited to enter State Farm Arena early for a live recording of the Hawks AF podcast, where comedian DC Young Fly will discuss Atlanta sports, culture, and Magic City with club founder Michael “Mr. Magic” Barney and T.I.
For a taste of the Magic City experience, the nightclub will serve two versions of their popular lemon pepper chicken wings, LouWill Lemon Pepper BBQ and traditional Lemon Pepper.
Limited edition merch, including a Peachtree-themed hoodie emblazoned with “Magic City” and the Hawks logo, will also be available to purchase at the venue and online.
“This collaboration and theme night is very meaningful to me after all the work that we did to put together Magic City: An American Fantasy,” stated Jami Gertz, executive producer the five-part Starz special. “The iconic Atlanta institution has made such an incredible impact on our city and its unique culture.”
“From the food to the music and the exclusive merchandise, we are excited to team up with Magic City to create an authentic, True to Atlanta-inspired game experience,” added Melissa Proctor, Hawks executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
Tickets to the podcast taping and game night are available now.
