The 2024 NHL draft will be held at the Sphere in Las Vegas, with the first round on Friday, while Rounds 2-7 will be held on Saturday.
Mike G. Morreale of NHL.com reported that this draft is expected to be the last where representatives from all 32 teams will be on the draft floor. San Jose is among six teams with two picks in the first round of this year’s draft. The others include the Anaheim Ducks, Calgary Flames, Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens and Philadelphia Flyers. Whether they retain their extra picks or trade them could provide some intrigue to the opening round.
