Beautiful Hair McKinney is celebrating 20 years of business in McKinney this year and 10 years in their current location, co-owner Jimmy Galaviz said.
The full-service salon offers haircuts for men, women and children, according to its website. Beautiful Hair also offers coloring and highlighting services, extensions and facial waxing. Jimmy, along with his wife Dawn Galaviz, opened the business in September 2006. They relocated Beautiful Hair to its current location Feb. 1, 2016, Galaviz said, where it’s been operating for 10 years.
Jimmy said it’s been a “really cool experience” running the business with Dawn in McKinney, where duo live and have raised their children. McKinney and the surrounding area in Collin County was a great place for businesses, he said.
“We’re fortunate enough to make people look good and feel good when they leave, and we do it on the same day,” Galaviz said.
