WALTHAM, Mass. – For the second consecutive year, the Bentley volleyball team is in the season’s final American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) national poll. The Falcons are ranked No. 22 in the nation after making the program’s third consecutive NCAA Quarterfinals appearance.
Last year was the first time in program history that Bentley cracked the AVCA national ranks, coming in at No. 18 at the conclusion of the 2024 season.
The Falcons (27-5) had a historic 2025 campaign, winning their third consecutive NCAA East Region title. Bentley went undefeated in NE10 games, claiming both the NE10 Regular Season and NE10 Tournament titles. The Falcons were also undefeated against regional opponents in 2025.
Bentley is the only program in the country to reach the NCAA Quarterfinals in each of the past three seasons.
Senior captain Elizabeth Blinn is the first Falcon in program history to be named to an All-America Team, as she earned All-America Third Team from the AVCA this season. Blinn is the NCAA DII statistical champion for blocks per set (1.67). Sophomores Sophia Poehlein and Tory Vitko, along with freshman Lulu Pavan, earned AVCA All-America Honorable Mention this year.
