Boston’s Run to Remember pays tribute to fallen officers

PEOPLE WILL BE HERE IN THE SEAPORT LATER THIS MORNING FOR BOSTON’S RUN TO REMEMBER TO PAY TRIBUTE TO FALLEN FIRST RESPONDERS. THERE ARE ALSO SEVERAL SPECIAL OFFERS TO GET PEOPLE OUT AROUND THE CITY THIS MEMORIAL DAY. WE’LL START WITH THE FIRST ONE THAT IS THE INSTITUTE OF CONTEMPORARY ART, WHICH IS OFFERING FREE ADMISSION TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO VISIT FROM 10 A.M. TO 5 P.M., BUT YOU DO STILL NEED TO GET TICKETS. THE MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS IS HOLDING A MEMORIAL DAY OPEN HOUSE FROM 10 TO 5. TICKETS THERE ARE AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS, AND THE USS CONSTITUTION WILL BE OPEN FOR PUBLIC TOURS FROM 10 TO 6 TODAY. CREWS OF OLD IRONSIDES WILL HONOR GOLD STAR FAMILIES WITH A SPECIAL PRESENTATION AT 1130. THEY’LL ALSO FIRE A 21 GUN SALUTE AT NOON AS FOR THOSE FLAGS WE TOLD YOU ABOUT EARLIER, WE’RE WE’RE WE’RE TOLD THEY WILL NOT BE TAKEN DOWN UNTIL WEDNESDAY DUE TO THE WEATHER FORECAST. VOLUNTEERS ARE BEING ASKED TO COME TO THE DISPLAY WEDNESDAY AT NOON TO HELP REMOVE THEM AND BACK OUT HERE LIVE IN THE SEAPORT. NEARLY 10,000 RUNNERS WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN EITHER A HALF MARATHON OR A FIVE MILE RACE TO BENEFIT LOCAL YOUTH PROGRAMS AND CHARITIES. THE HALF MARATHON RACE STARTS AT 7 A.M. WE’RE LIVE IN THE SEA
