BRAVE Combat Federation’s historic debut in Austria, BRAVE CF 90 has a blockbuster main event and co-main event. The headliner of the event, scheduled to happen in association with Sparta CF at Multiverse Schwechat, Vienna will be a Super Welterweight clash between Austria’s own Muslim Danaev and Chequina Noso Pedro of the Netherlands.
Undefeated Austrian Danaev will be looking to extend his seven-fight winning streak in front of his home fans in the biggest MMA event on Austrian soil. Danaev has only gone the distance once in his MMA career and has the opportunity to put Austrian MMA on the global map by headlining BRAVE CF 90.
Meanwhile, Chequina Noso Pedro will be looking to build on his second-round finish at BRAVE CF 83 in the Netherlands. Pedro had finished Ali Isajew at BRAVE CF 83 via a submission and prior to this, he had secured a win at BRAVE CF 79 as well where he secured a decision win over Dzhokhar Duraev. Currently undefeated in BRAVE Combat Federation, Pedro will be looking to ruin the homecoming of his opponent.
The co-main event of the night will feature the return of Bahraini superstar Rasul Magomedov who will take on Polish submission artist Lukasz Olech. Magomedov, fresh off his win at BRAVE CF 87 over Pablo Benaion, will be looking to push his case for a title shot in the Light Heavyweight division. Erko Jun was recently crowned the champion in the division and Magomedov is currently placed as a rising contender in the division following his first-round submission win at BRAVE CF 87.
Currently undefeated in his professional MMA career having finished all his opponents, Magomedov will have his grappling game tested by Olech. Olech has secured all his wins through submissions and is riding on a three-fight winning streak having finished all his previous three opponents via first-round submissions. A win against Magomedov would help Olech to rise as a contender in the Light Heavyweight Division.
BRAVE CF 90 will be the tenth event of BRAVE Combat Federation for 2024 and marks the debut of the organization in Austria, making it the 35th host nation globally and the 16th host nation in Europe for the organization, both world records.
