A rockslide in Glenwood Canyon at about 10 a.m. Thursday created a brief closure of I-70 when boulders fell onto the westbound lanes.
Eastbound lanes were reopened as of 11:32 a.m. according to the Colorado Department of Transportation and one lane of westbound traffic is open as of 1 p.m.
“The slide took place at approximately 10 a.m. this morning and is located between Grizzly Creek (exit 121) and Hanging Lake (exit 125). The slide is located east of Glenwood Springs,” said a CDOT release.
No damage to vehicles or injuries were reported.
