ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Dre Greenlaw is a step closer toward making his Broncos debut.
Ahead of Sunday’s game against the Giants, the Broncos activated Greenlaw from injured reserve to the 53-man roster, the team announced.
Greenlaw has not yet appeared in a game for Denver this season but is now eligible to play against New York. He was a full participant in practice on Friday and is listed as questionable for the matchup.
Part of the Broncos’ 2025 free-agent class, Greenlaw recorded 247 tackles, eight tackles for loss, four quarterback hits, 1.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 10 passes defensed and an interception across 30 games from 2022-23. The veteran player was limited to two games in 2024.
The Broncos also signed quarterback Sam Ehlinger back to the practice squad after previously releasing him from the active roster. Denver also released defensive back A.J. Woods from the practice squad and released wide receiver Thayer Thomas from the practice squad with an injury settlement.
Denver will look to extend its league-leading seven-game active home win streak on Sunday against New York. The Broncos and Giants face off at 2:05 p.m. MT on CBS.
