Fans of Portillo’s hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches and famous chocolate cake will have a new location to chow down. The Chicago-based company announced on Dec. 4 that it will be opening its ninth Arizona location in Chandler at the corner of Ray Road and Interstate 10.
The restaurant will feature a new, updated architectural style that Portillo has designated as its “Restaurant of the Future.” The 6,250 square-foot restaurant will seat 160 and have a double drive-through lane.
The company has not announced the exact opening date, but it is planned for 2025.
