SAN ANTONIO – The Alamo City is feeling the heat, and this weather is only going to persist heading deeper into summer.
There are dozens more across the city to make sure you are staying safe during this heatwave.
On Saturday, we saw 101 degrees for the first time this year.
Sunday is also expected to hit those triple digits with Memorial Day expected to be the highest at 103 degrees.
A heat advisory is in effect, which is why the city of San Antonio will have the necessary resources to help beat the heat.
“These are really places for anyone who is experiencing the extreme heat to come and cool off,” said Brian Chasnoff, Assistant Director of Communications at COSA .“And, it’s a reliable safe place for folks to come in and get in out of the heat “
Senior centers, libraries, splash pads, and community centers will all be equipped to help you keep cool.
