Costco Wholesale submitted plans to the City of Littleton for the new location.
LITTLETON, Colo. — Costco Wholesale is planning a new store in suburban Littleton as part of a larger effort to redevelop a former office site.
Costco and architecture firm MG2 submitted recent plans to the City of Littleton on Feb. 8 for a new location at 700 and 900 West Mineral Avenue at a former Lumen Technologies, Inc. office campus.
The developer, Colorado-based Republic Investment Group (RIG), is working with the city of Littleton to get both Costco as well as other retail and residential uses through city approvals. Current zoning at the Costco site allows for warehouse retail, grocery, gas station, liquor sales and vehicle repair. Currently, there’s a 400,000-square-foot two-story building that the developers will demolish to make way for the new Costco.
