A leading trading firm is looking for a Product Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision for the counterparty management solutions, overseeing the entire CLM process. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, trading, operations, and compliance, to ensure that the CLM systems evolve in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, transforming strategic goals into actionable plans, and driving the successful delivery of business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- CLM Ownership: Take full responsibility for the effective delivery and ongoing enhancement of the counterparty lifecycle management (CLM) platform. Ensure it aligns with business objectives and adheres to regulatory requirements, managing its development, rollout, and continuous maintenance.
- Strategic Vision & Execution: Lead the development and execution of the strategic vision for CLM solutions, ensuring they align with broader business goals and compliance obligations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, gathering requirements, providing regular status updates, and ensuring that all developments are aligned with business objectives.
- Prioritization: Oversee the prioritization of features, enhancements, and tasks, ensuring the development team focuses on initiatives that drive the most value and align with business needs.
- User Story Development: Develop, refine, and prioritize user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development process, ensuring clear and actionable communication with the team.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and acceptance criteria, ensuring solutions are effective, compliant, and aligned with the firm’s objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 3-5 years in a Product Owner role or similar capacity, ideally within financial services.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong expertise in counterparty lifecycle management, including onboarding, KYC (Know Your Customer), and regulatory compliance.
- Technical Acumen: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, along with a basic understanding of software development processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
