Officials say returning route expands connectivity and options
– The San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport announced the return of daily nonstop service to Las Vegas on Alaska Airlines beginning Oct. 4.
The seasonal route provides Central Coast travelers with direct access to Las Vegas for leisure, business, and connecting flights.
“Las Vegas has always been a top destination for our region, drawing both leisure travelers and business opportunities,” said San Luis Obispo County Supervisor Dawn Ortiz-Legg. “The return of this nonstop service not only enhances convenience for our residents but also strengthens the regional economy by welcoming more visitors to the Central Coast. Tourism is a vital part of our community, and air service is a cornerstone of its success.”
“The return of this Las Vegas route underscores Alaska Airlines’ continued confidence in the San Luis Obispo County market and our strong partnership,” said Courtney Johnson, director of airports. “We are proud to offer more options for our travelers and grateful for the community support that makes this service possible. Every added route reflects the success and resilience of air travel at SBP.”
The nonstop flights will operate daily, giving travelers access to Las Vegas as well as connections to other destinations. Airport officials said the route expands connectivity while supporting the local economy.
