DALLAS (KDAF) — In a new report from WalletHub, Dallas is ranked as one of the best cities for hockey fans in 2024.

To determine the best places for hockey fans, WalletHub compared 76 U.S. cities across 21 key metrics. The data set ranges from the performance level of the city’s professional and college teams to minimum season ticket prices to stadium capacity.

Dallas ranked 17th overall, but ranked higher in metrics like performance of NHL team and NHL attendance. Here’s the breakdown for Dallas:

• 5^th – Performance Level of NHL Team
• 8^th – Avg. Ticket Price for NHL Game
• 20^th – NHL Stadium Capacity
• 11^th – Number of NHL Stanley Cup Wins
• 8^th – NHL Attendance
• 14^th – NHL Team Franchise Value
