Dawn Moore has been named the executive director of Colorado College’s Ed Robson Arena, Vice President and Director of Athletics Lesley Irvine announced today.
Moore has served as the associate director of Robson Arena since February of 2024.
“We’re excited to elevate Dawn in to this critical role. Her impact in the planning for Warrior Games highlighted her ability to lead, manage and build community. Her background in event and championship management and her ability to collaborate will allow us to continue to elevate the success and impact of the arena”
Moore came to Colorado College following a second stint at the Mountain West, where she was the associate commissioner for championships since September of 2022. In that position, she was responsible for the oversight of the 15 MW Olympic sports, including sport administration and championship execution.
“It is an honor to be named the executive director at Ed Robson Arena,” Moore said. “Since joining the staff at Colorado College, I have seen firsthand how important this venue is—not just as the home of the CC Tigers and the college campus, but as a venue for events that bring people from the community together. I am excited to continue working alongside an incredible team to keep building on our momentum and deliver a first-class experience for everyone that comes in the front door.”
Prior to rejoining the Mountain West, Moore was the manager for events and logistics at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC). Before that, she was the assistant commissioner for championships at the Mountain West and the director of championships and special events for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Ed Robson Arena is home to Colorado College Tiger Hockey, CC Commencement, and many additional campus, local and national events, including the Department of Defense Warrior Games and the USA Weightlifting Nationals.
