The Denver Foundation invites applications to its Bowen Family Performing Arts Fund, which supports performing arts programs serving elementary and middle school youth who have fewer opportunities to learn and appreciate the arts. Organizations should seek to effectively promote and further the teaching and appreciation of the performing arts, including ballet, tap, jazz, opera, symphonic music, musicals, and theater productions. Work must connect with the mission of supporting programs for children from underserved or historically disadvantaged communities.
Awards are expected to be between $5,000 and $15,000.
To be eligible, applicants must be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (or have a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor) and be located within the seven-county metro Denver area.
