Where good news shines
The University of Denver athletics department claimed its third-straight Summit League Institutional Academic Achievement Award on Wednesday.
Denver had five athletic programs earn team academic achievement awards for finishing with the highest percentage of its student-athletes on the Summit League’s Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence.
The five programs were men’s basketball, women’s golf, women’s soccer, men’s tennis and women’s tennis. Men’s basketball was recognized for the third year in a row, while women’s golf led the league for the second-straight year.
