In their last outing, the Scarlet and Blue took on BIG EAST Championships, Friday, Oct. 31. The men’s team posted its first top-five League-Championship performance since 2022, and the women fought hard to an eighth-place finish among a talented field of teams.
Mohamed Abdullahi headlined the Blue Demons BIG EAST stay, placing 11th and finishing in 23:44:42, continuing his impressive four-race PR streak in the men’s 8k.
DePaul returns to Stillwater for the first time since the 2023 NCAA Midwest Regionals, which saw former Blue Demons star Olivia Borowiak secure All-Region honors.
The 2025 cross country season was highlighted by top-five finishes, a number of personal bests, and improvement for the young DePaul squad with many newcomers and underclassmen leading the efforts. Following the NCAA Midwest Regional, the season will conclude with the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Columbia, Mo. on Saturday, Nov. 22.
