DALLAS, January 21, 2026—Duane Morris LLP has appointed John S. Polzer as the managing partner of its Dallas and Fort Worth offices, effective January 1, 2026. Polzer succeeds Randy D. Gordon, who has served as Dallas’ managing partner since the office opened in 2021 and Fort Worth’s opening in 2022. Gordon will be transitioning to of counsel.

Polzer is a member of the firm’s governing Partners Board and co-chair of the Duane Morris Healthcare Litigation division of the Trial Practice Group. He practices in the area of litigation with a focus on healthcare, commercial litigation, construction, energy litigation and real estate. Polzer represents clients nationwide and has litigated cases in more than 35 states and has represented numerous clients in asset purchase litigation in Delaware.

Polzer is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center (J.D., 2005), where he was articles editor of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal, and the University of Texas at Austin (B.S., 2002).
