A pair of Invicta alumni who faced off in the all-female fighting organization are set for a rematch at UFC 322 later this year.
Tracy Cortez (11-2) will face Erin Blanchfield (13-2) for the second time at the numbered PPV event, which is expected to take place on November 15, 2025 in New York, NY. MMA Junkie was first to report news of the pairing.
Promotion officials have yet to announce either the booking, or location/venue. However, the November 15 date is widely expected to be the UFC’s return to Madison Square Garden.
Both fighters have confirmed the pairing on social media.
Cortez will be looking to put together her second straight victory in the bout, after defeating Viviane Araujo last time out. Back in 2019, she won an initial meeting with Blanchfield under the Invicta FC banner, care of a split decision.
That leaves Blanchfield looking for a little vengeance come November. “Cold Blooded” is coming off a win over former women’s strawweight champ Rose Namajunas at UFC Edmonton last November, making it a year between fights for the 26-year old.
Blanchfield had been booked opposite Maycee Barber this past May, however a last minute medical emergency, reportedly a seizure suffered by Barber, saw the bout cancelled minutes before the fighters were to make their walk to the cage.
Erin Blanchfield is currently ranked #4 in the UFC women’s flyweight division, while Tracy Cortez sits at #8.
No other fights have been reported for UFC 322 thus far.
