SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Fall is officially here and Saratoga Springs is ready to celebrate. The city’s annual Fall Festival will return to downtown on October 25.
The day will kick off at 12 p.m. with the famous Pumpkin Rolling Contest. Participants will gather at the top of Caroline Street and send their pumpkins off to the races, with gift certificates to Ben & Jerry’s and Strike Zone handed out at the bottom of the hill.
Children are also invited to trick-or-treat at downtown Saratoga Springs businesses and participate in the Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt. Maps and riddles can be picked up at the Saratoga Springs Downtown Business Association table on Caroline Street or at the downtown Visitor Center.
Maple cotton candy, balloon twisting and various entertainment acts — including the Road Soda Pop Band and Kid’s Peace Pan Band — will run throughout the day. Animal lovers can also stop to visit Upset the Miniature Dark Horse at Dark Horse Mercantile.
The Fall Festival will take place in downtown Saratoga Springs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Both children and adults are invited to dress up in Halloween costumes. A full schedule activity and entertainment schedule can be found on the Downtown Business Association website.
