Oklahoma real estate trends: What to know before buying a home in 2025
How affordable is Oklahoma real estate in 2025? What to know before you buy.
Former MLB star Matt Holliday has listed his 136-acre Stillwater property for sale at $12 million.
Holliday was a seventh-round pick in the 1998 MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies, joining the professional league right out of Stillwater High School. He didn’t make his MLB debut until 2004, when he became the Rockies’ starting left fielder.
The Holliday family is highly prominent in baseball in Stillwater and across the country. Holliday’s brother Josh has served as the Oklahoma State baseball head coach for the past 13 seasons, while Matt Holliday’s two sons, Ethan and Jackson, were both first-round picks in recent MLB Drafts. Jackson, 22, was the first overall pick in 2022 and plays for the Baltimore Orioles.
Holliday put his 136-acre property for sale as the family prepares to move to Arizona.
The 5-bed, 6-bath estate, built in 2022, features a full indoor pickleball court, an indoor basketball court, professional batting cages, and a baseball and wiffleball field. Have guests coming over for an extended stay? It also features a guest house and a large barn that can serve as extra garage capacity.
According to the Stillwater Luxury Agency, responsible for the sale, the estate comes with approximately $3 million in custom furniture.
The property is 7,500 square feet and has five bedrooms, 6.1 bathrooms and a four-car garage. It is located within the Stillwater Schools district.
Gundy mansion also for sale in Stillwater
This is not the only luxury property currently for sale in Stillwater. Former OSU football head coach Mike Gundy’s mansion is still on the market for $8 million.
The six-bedroom, eight-bathroom home located south of Stillwater is 13,853 square feet and includes the entire 80-acre ranch the house sits on, according to the real estate listing.
